USB Filtering

Many organizations block the USB port of computers to prevent the spread of malware and the theft of confidential information. Unfortunately, using this method in most cases reduces the efficiency and satisfaction of users. An alternative solution is to use an enterprise flash drive. In this solution, the USB port is open and information is transferred only through the organizational flash memory. With the USB port open, there is no guarantee that an infected flash drive will not be connected to another computer. Therefore, to solve this problem, the USB filtering tool was produced by the APA center of Razi University. Using this tool, you can specify an authorized list of flash memories that only they can connect to the systems. You can also find out about all the operations that have been done on the flash drive, such as copying, transferring and deleting files on the flash drive.
Features available in USB filtering

• Identifying flash memories connected to the computer based on a unique characteristic
• Ability to filter connected arrows based on unique ID
• Reporting of flash drives that have been successfully connected to the system
• Reporting of banned flash drives that have been unsuccessfully connected to the system
• Recording operations performed on files and folders through flash drives connected to the system
