APA Center of Razi University

APA stands for awareness, support and aid. APA Center of Razi University was established in July 2016 with the support of Iran Information Technology Organization. This center provides its services in the form of identifying computer threats, discovering and reporting vulnerabilities, handling and assisting organizations in facing security incidents, security assessment and penetration testing, research Provides practical and general and specialized training in the field of security. The main strategy of this center is to become a leading and knowledge-based center in the field of cyber security in the west of the country.

Activities highlights

- Holding the first round of the capture the flag (CTF) of the west of the country, January 2018.

- Production of training software for penetration testing of Saiman applications and providing it for free.

- Production of web based tool the Siteban to monitor the organizational portals (site-baan.ir).

- Continuous cooperation with the General Directorate of Non-Active Defense of the province in order to assess the security of the departments and organizations of the province.

- Winning the fourth place in the competition to discover the vulnerabilities of Apant network, June 2017.

- Winning the 4th place in the 5th round of national capture the flag competition, February 2019.

- Holding the second round of the capture the flag (CTF) of the west of the country, May 2019.

- Obtaining the 19th world rank in the PeaCTF2019 competition in July 2019.

- Obtaining the 6th national rank in CTFTime global ranking in 2019.

- Obtaining the 2nd national rank in CTFTime global ranking in 2020.
